Focus

Focus ("the app") is a minimal timer and focus app made by dasas.co. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We built Focus to work with as little data as possible.

Your focus sessions, focus items, timer history, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers and we do not have access to it. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Delete All Data inside the app.

We use Amplitude to understand how the app is used (for example, which features are opened or how often a timer is started) so we can improve it. This data is tied to an anonymous, randomly generated device identifier — never your name, email, or Apple ID.

We do not send free-text content (such as the titles or notes you write for your focus items) to our analytics provider.

Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple App Store account. We use Qonversion to manage and validate subscription status. Qonversion receives an anonymous device identifier and your purchase/transaction information from Apple — we never see or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.), as Apple handles all payment processing.

If you allow it, the app sends local notifications (for example, when a timer finishes). These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device and are not routed through any server of ours.

The app uses Firebase Remote Config to fetch non-personal configuration such as available subscription options. This connection does not transmit any personal data about you.

We do not sell your data. Information is only shared with the service providers described above (Amplitude, Qonversion, Apple, Firebase), solely to operate the app's analytics, subscriptions, and configuration features.

Focus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

• Delete all locally stored app data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data.
• Disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings app.
• Manage or cancel your subscription from Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.
• Contact us at any time with questions or requests about your data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
